# sendDirectDeposit

> Transfer a collateral token the wallet already holds into the Safe.

Transfer a collateral the connected wallet already holds on the deposit chain, confirm it, and register the deposit.

[`sendDeposit`](/docs/sdk/api/send-deposit) calls this when the spent token is that collateral on that chain. Call `sendDirectDeposit` only when the integration already knows the wallet holds it.

`amount` is least units. `asset` is a collateral symbol the SDK can transfer (`USDC`, `WETH`, `EURC`, `USDT`, `PYUSD`, `NVDAc`) on a chain where that token exists.

## Example

await sdk.waitForDepositPosition(sent.registration.id, 8453);
```

`sent.route` is `"direct"`. `sent.txHash` is the ERC-20 transfer into the Safe.

Same-chain native ETH into WETH is not this method. [`sendDeposit`](/docs/sdk/api/send-deposit) with `spendToken: "ETH"` wraps, then transfers WETH.
